The SMS&P Cloud Incubation team is currently recruiting a Partner Practice Recruiter focus on our SAAS offering: Office 365. As a member of the SMS&P Cloud Incubation Sales team for Office 365 you will be responsible for identifying, driving and closing complex sales opportunities for Microsoft's cloud computing platform. You will work with Microsoft field sales teams to engage with our SMS&P customers to drive sell for consumption oriented big Office 365 deal. You will also recruit, incubate and work with key partners and the DPE (Developer Platform Evangelism) team on sales planning and joint execution, perform skills transfer for partners' sales forces and provide input and feedback from field and partners to the marketing and product development process. Effective sales/partner sales pipeline development and management experience required. Close coordination and support of the Enterprise field sales team and DPE leadership is essential.
This job entails selling and enable partner selling Microsoft's cloud computing platform to customers and also drive consumption as same priority, removing roadblocks to deployment, and driving customer satisfaction. In addition, you will provide leadership to others in identifying opportunities and helping customers to evaluate Office 365 solutions within their requirements to leverage the cloud. The ideal candidate will also have a proven record of growing new businesses and building technical relationships. A strong knowledge of Enterprise IT solutions, OA, MS BPIO product and Internet services plus related technologies and competitors in the cloud computing space is required. Ability to effectively present to a wide range and size of audiences from IT technician to CIO level is a must. This position requires a deep subject matter expertise for technology solution sales and issues surrounding cloud computing and integration of other Microsoft and competitor technologies. The preferred location for this position will be in Beijing/China. The individual is expected to take the lead in Office 365 business for China SMS&P Subsidiary.
Responsibility
1. Working with the Account Manager, Account Technology Strategist (ATS), TAM, CA teams and other roles during Account Planning to complete customer profiles relevant to the Cloud and drive the ongoing consumption.
2. Working with the SMSP teams to identify Office 365 management and compete gaps within assigned accounts and the ways in which Microsoft can dislodge the competition or augment the share of Microsoft technologies within these accounts. Ensuring the next project gets into Azure vs. competitive technology.
3. Identifying high potential accounts where accelerated adoption of Office 365 can be delivered.
4. Create and develop long term relationships with customers at CxO level with the empowerment to decide on cloud strategies within accounts.
5. Researching assigned accounts’ total Cloud technology spend and driving a strategy that earns Microsoft a significant percentage of that spend.
6. Contributing to solution opportunity generation plans for Office 365 that contribute to overall Account Planning efforts with the Account Teams (SMSP), resulting in new revenue, renewal, upsell and consumption of Office 365 thru programs and offers.
7. Bringing customers to agreement on the investment they should make for private, hybrid or public cloud solutions based on MS technology.
8. Working with account team members (SMSP), partners and/or Services to close deals and drive consumption by reinforcing the business value of cloud and acting as an interface between customers and partners/Services.
9. Contributing to the engagement and readiness of partners who can help the SMSP sales force scale capacity.
10. Delivering reference accounts that can be leveraged in future sales engagements.
Requirements
-Proven success with enterprise customers, working knowledge of solution-selling strategies and tactics, and business value selling.
-Experience with development and architecture, especially OA, enterprise online mail and collaboration system technologies, preferred.
-Understanding of SAAS focus on OA and work collaboration and data center based solutions will be an added advantage
-Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers and emerging trends as well as the impact of these on partners and customers.
-Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, verbal and written communication, analytical and presentation skills are required.
-A minimum of 10-15 years’ experience in Enterprise software sales, enterprise consulting, or equivalent.
-Demonstrated experience and success engaging with senior executives in a sales process and working with leading consulting and systems integrator organizations.
-Candidate must possess exceptional demonstrated decision-making, conflict resolution, problem solving, and negotiation skills.
-BS/BA degree.
