China Innovation Group is at a pivot position in Server & Tools Business organization to advance product innovations and business impact, and we are now looking for a Senior Program Manager to lead and accomplish mission critical projects in China. Specifically, we are looking for a strong performer with a proven track record of ideation, planning and execution.

As Senior Program Manager in China Innovation Group, you will be engaging with customers and partners, Microsoft solution sales and architects to analyze and identify common patterns and requirements, which can be resolved or optimized by innovative technologies on Microsoft cloud platform. You will then be required to define scenarios, create feature specifications, then orchestrate efforts among researchers, program managers, designer, developers and testers to implement the features with agreed schedule and agile development process. Finally, you will need to evangelize the work both internally and externally to maximize impact and influence.

Requirements:
This position requires an individual who understands how to get things done at Microsoft through direct decision-making authority as well as influence across teams/organizations. Candidate should have strong technical understanding and relationships with other strategic groups across Microsoft. Candidate should have strong balance between deep technical expertise across Microsoft Server/Azure platform and classical program management experience. In addition, candidate must have experience in planning, execution, building relationships and working with internal/external resources at all levels.

This Senior Program Manager Program Manager should have strong analytical/problem solving skills, demonstrated success in shipping codes, strong communication skills (verbal and written), proven project management skills, excellent externally facing interaction and execution skills, and be a motivated self-starter. You should also enjoy working under pressure and deadlines, and be flexible with tolerance for and ability to manage ambiguity and uncertainty. Product and/or solution experience on Microsoft server platform or Azure platform is a bonus.
