Year 2014 is all about Devices. We are pushing ourselves to the limit to launch as much as possible Windows Devices out to retail market. This role is part of a dedicated team in Beijing working directly with China device manufacturers, and will also work with various OEM, specialty area work with all Device OEMs across the countries.

We are looking for a strong and experienced software developer based in Shenzhen, China. As you work on these cool new devices, you will be in a unique position to evaluate and provide feedback on the Windows Phone Device platforms that will lead to higher device stability and quality. Close collaboration with internal terms (in Korea, Taiwan, Japan and Redmond) and external OEM partners will be essential for success in this role.

This Software Development Engineer will be responsible for technical support for Shenzhen Smartphone partners and Design House for building and launching Windows Phone, by working with PM and other PCE team engineering labs. As a SDE, you should be responsible for deep debugging and analyzing partners' blocking issues related with WP OS and find root cause. You also need to develop some Testing /Debugging tools if needed to improve internal testing efficiency. At the same time, you should also deliver training (sometimes on-site) to external partners to help them quickly know how to develop WP drivers and get competence to use MSFT tools. The ideal candidate will be an experienced SW Developers with background on Big Silicon Company (like Qualcomm, MTK, NV), big Phone OEM Company (like Huawei, ZTE, CoolPad, TCL, etc.), some Design House, or some Smart Phone Driver Development company.

Requirements:
-At least 5 years' Developers experiences on ARM platform (Especially for Qualcomm platform) and according Debugging methods.
-Be familiar with Smart Phone's development process and tools.
-Knowledge on Driver development on Cameral, TP, Sensor and LCD.
-Strong C, C++ coding skill on Windows or Windows Phone OS.
-Good communication skill.
-Quick learner and ability to understanding a range of complex HW/SW technologies.
-Required: BA/BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
