1 Position Objectives

The position is primarily involved in driving OHSAS 18001 system compliance throughout Ericsson Region North East Asia (RNEA) and providing expert assistance, advice and coaching to managers and staff on the management of OHS systems, programs and procedures to ensure compliance with legislation and industry best practice.

To help RNEA secure the OHSAS 18001 certificate yearly.

2 Main Responsibilities

· Develop, implement and review OHS Directive, Policies, Programs and risk assessments to ensure compliance with legislation and industry best practice in all locations of the region.

· Facilitate to conduct OHS risk assessments in conjunction with OHSAS 18001 requirements.

· Build up and train up OHS virtual team as OHS drivers in RNEA.

· Provide training and guidance to staff in the implementation of OHS management systems.

· Keep up to date with changes to the legislation, standards and codes of practice that will impact on OHS and communicate to all stakeholders in RNEA.

· Assist in Planning organizing and implementation of OHS initiatives across the region.

· Assist to assess and evaluate risks to which the company is exposed to and develop action plans with appropriate corrective/improvement actions.

· Prepare reports on OHS plans and status of RNEA for Leadership Team as required.

· Assist in the development and implementation of internal and external audit schedules to ensure compliance of the OHS management system with OHSAS requirements as well as Local Government Regulations.

· Assist, support and guide staff participating in Compliance audits.

· Assist in the undertaking of investigations following accidents or occurrences to determine likely root causes and corrective actions.

· Communicate and train suppliers to comply with Ericsson OHS requirements.

· Set annual OHS targets and KPIs. Assist to implement and make it happen.

· Report regional OHS status to global OHS team monthly and quarterly

· Make OHS incident reporting system work in RNEA

· Any other reasonable duties as directed

3 Requirements

3.1 Personal Skills

· High level interpersonal and communication skills.

· The ability to develop a positive, accountable and customer serviced focused culture across the region.

· The ability to interpret policy and legislation.

· High level time management and resolution skills.

3.2 Experience

· Considerable experience in OHS and Risk Management

· Experience in driving cultural change to support Risk Management processes.

· Considerable experience in conducting compliance audits of safety and/or quality systems.

· Experience in providing training and guidance in OHS and Risk Management systems.

· Considerable experience in assessing and evaluating risk and implementing corrective action.

· Experience in planning, organizing and implementation of “OHS” and “Risk” Management policy, programs, procedures and initiatives.

3.3 Knowledge

· Sound knowledge of OHS legislation, relevant OHSAS Standards and codes of Practice in the region.

· Sound knowledge in developing, reviewing and implementing a risk management strategy and program.

3.4 Qualifications

· OHS experience in a similar role.

· A Certificate of Training for OHSAS 18001: 2007 Internal Auditor or External Auditor.

· A Degree qualification in Business, Risk Management or similar related field is desirable.

· Fluent in both oral and written English.
