职位描述

POSITION TITLE: Technical Director redi-Group China
_________________________________________________________________

REPORTS TO (TITLE): General Manager
_________________________________________________________________

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible for developing business opportunites and excuting corresponding projects in China, Asia with OEMs, Tier 1, Tier 2 (customers) to meet or exceed the revenue and profit goals aligned with redi-Group China for each fiscal year.


PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This may not limit the function and responsibilities. It may be augmented at any time by redi-Group.

Strategy/ Performance Leadership (30%) (Defining Sales Strategy & Plans)


? Seeks and develops technical/ business opportunities.
? Analyze project requirements and skill sets available.
? Develops projects with redi-Group Business Director to exceed r/G corporate goals.
? Institute Quality Management System concepts
Operational (30%) (Managing and Improving redi-Group services)



? Manage customers by understanding their needs and proposing options for improvement.
? Assures projects success by constant feedback of data and utilizing PDCA [PLAN. DO, Act]
? Continuously improves redi-Group services by continuous gap analysis.
? Continuous Improvement on all services/projects, internal and external, by using Root Cause Analysis to reduce any services or project failures.
? In conjunction with the redi-Group Business Director, develop the internal organizational structure and policies


Client (30%) (Developing Relationships and Delivering Services to Clients)


? Builds strong customer relationships with Customers/Suppliers on technical, quality, and purchasing departments.
? Consults with the Stakeholders to provide problem definition, solutions and methodology to facilitate successes.
?
Organizational/ People (10%) (Developing Self and Assigned Staff)

? Supports development of all redi-Group staff by creating visions of the group.
? Reviews personnel progress and instilling a sense of ‘doing more and doing better’ by expanding visions and empowerment.
? Builds strong personal/working relationship with all internal and key external resources
? Responsible for setting goals and objectives with appropriate staff for redi-Group needs and provides coaching and feedback to improve team member performance.
? Provides training and knowledge-sharing activities to expand and improve team's performance and to provide career advancement opportunities.
? Shares personal and professional successes and failures for employees to see their options


SCOPE OF JOB:

Reporting:

? Addresses special technical issues and solutions with Stakeholders.
? Regular personnel and project performance reviews.
? Reports to Customers, Suppliers and redi-Group personnel as required.
? Communicates with redi-Group International on an as needed basis.

Supervision Responsibility:


? Manages staff on-site and at customer locations.
? Reviews all promotions, disciplines and terminations recommendations from redi-Group Business Director and HR Manager



Financial Responsibility:


? Develops project resource requirements and assists redi-Group Business Director in proposals.
? Negotiates with customers on project requirements.
? Assists in development of strategies for exceeding company financial goals
? Analyze revenue, expenses and profit overviews
? Reviews billable hours to maximize income.




HIRING REQUIREMENTS:

Education Requirements:
Minimum:

? Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in project management, quality management, manufacturing processes and customer relations in the automotive manufacturing at an OEM level.

Preferred:

? Master's degree or equivalent work experience in project management, quality management, manufacturing processes and customer relations in the automotive manufacturing at an OEM and Supplier level.
? German language skills


Work Experience Requirements:
Minimum

? 10 years of experience in project management, supplier quality, sales in automotive industry
? Good understanding of Quality tools [PPAP, ISIR, 8D, Multiple Problem Solving techniques, Six Sigma]
? Has experience in OEM and Suppliers’ Manufacturing/Quality Systems
? 5 years in a management role
? Excellent communication skills in English
? Demonstrated computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
? Self-Starter and can motivate various teams
? Proven track record of mentoring, coaching, and discipline processes.

Preferred

? 14 years of experience in project management, supplier quality, sales in automotive industry
? Good understanding of Quality tools [PPAP, ISIR, 8D, Multiple Problem Solving techniques, Six Sigma]
? Purchasing experience
? Supplier Quality/Development experience
? 7 years in a management role [Salary and Hourly staff]
? Understands basic Chinese regulations [Contracts,labor Law, Health /Safety, Ergonomics]
? Experience in devoloping Policies
? Excellent communication skills in English and German
? Experience in automotive manufacturing business
