Job description
Acquire expertise in SPSS, Cognos BI. Serve as credible, top notch solution and technology expert for the Sales team.
Work directly with Sales Rep and prospects to identify the technical fit between SPSS/Cognos technology and customer needs. Explain and promote SPSS/Cognos technology to prospective clients. Build demos, based on customer requirements, to demonstrate feasibility of SPSS/Cognos solution.
Assist sales team in on-going development of strategies and tactics to enhance/maintain competitive advantage.
Work with clients to identify BI requirements.
Work with clients on business as well as technical issues.
Contribute to Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP).
Work internally to ensure smooth transition between presales technical work and post-sales consulting and technical support
Support various sales and marketing activities, including trade show participation, alliance and partner training, etc.

Required Skills:
At least 2 years experience in applied statistics, data mining and predictive analytical modeling
At least 2 years experience in database management, data validation and statistical analysis of data
At least 2 years experience in Advanced Analytics tools (Cognos, SPSS, Oracle Hyperion, SAP BO, etc)
Excellent communication and presentation skills

Required
Bachelor's Degree
At least 5 years experience in Local Experience
English: Intermediate
