POSITION TITLE: CHIEF MARKETING &COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER
JOB FAMILY: Marketing and Membership

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
? Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field and minimum 10 years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
? Experience in organizing big events for public campaign;
? Experience in on-line promotion;
? Experience supervising and managing staff and teams.
? Experience cultivating and managing client relationships.
? Experience in project and account management including budgetary responsibilities, and measuring results of strategic plans and programs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for management and annual objectives of one or more staff that create, manage and implement key/strategic initiatives and marketing programs designed to advance the Conservancy’s marketing strategies that build reputation, influence conservation action, and achieve fundraising goals. Ensure delivery of programs consistent with the vision and goals of TNC enterprise and through alignment of staff efforts that match priorities set by senior management.
Responsible for develop the organizational and program communication, marketing goal, strategy and actions to increase and sustain public awareness and support of The Conservancy. Work together with TNC World-wide communication and marketing office and regional Comm/marketing team to build TNC’s constituency in China. Oversees the dissemination of media information and manages and executes the Conservancy’s strategic communications effort. Works with program managers to identify communication needs and opportunities and to develop overall communications strategies for TNC. Develops and fosters relations with key persons in selected media and related fields to promote TNC objectives.
Manage the production budget and operational delivery of branding principles, whether applied internally, outbound or with external partners. Responsible for relationships with internal partner(s) or key stakeholder group(s). Provide input to operational budget.
