External Purchasing / Sourcing

• Define the product requirement with sales and technical engineers;
• Identify,develop and qualify potential suppliers in China to become CRH Construction Accessories China partners,ensuring compliance with the CRH Ethical Procurement Code;
• To conduct thorough supply market analysis (suppliers,locations,capabilities,leadtimes,trends,price history,cost drivers,service,technical support,etc.)to identify sourcing opportunities;
• Manager strategic supplier relationship to ensure continuous improvement and 2-way learning;
• Preparation of RFQ for construction accessories,bidder list,CBA;
• Negotiate with selected vendors and get the final/best price/condition;
• Preparation of purchase contract/order and follow up.

Internal purchasing

• Negotiate with CRH internal European suppliers to guarantee appropriate margin in China.

Procurement / Planning

• Place orders to suppliers as per company supply strategy,keep tracking and tracing;
• Define supply strategies to ensure cost efficiency and short delivery lead time;
• Make procurement plan based on sales forecast.

Processes

• Maintain well-structured documentation;
• Develope supplier database and procurement files;
• PO track and trace,ensure every delivery from supplier is aligned with aligned with PO;
• Cooperate with CRH China Sourcing Team to identify sourcing opportunities and executing corresponding sourcing strategies.

Education Background

• University Degree (BEng or equivalent)from reputed institution;
• Technical Degree(Material Science,Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineer);
• BCPM Certified Purchasing Manager preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years pirchasing experience;
• 2-3year experience working in a Mechanical Engineering environment ;
• Experienced in contract commercial terms and purchasing risk management.

• Project management and organization skills.Multi-tasking capability;
• High level of Integrity;
• Working autonomy and initiative;
• Understand cost structure and able to do cost analysis;
• Good command of MS Office(Excel);
• Good HSE knowledge;
• Mandarin native,English fluent;
