Business Development Manager – Energy (Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen)
Job Description

Business Managers play a key role in developing new business opportunities and growing business with existing Clients. Key Responsibilities include:
- New business development within the Energy sector, selling Sesame’s Engineering and Technology Consulting services – from staffing solutions to work packages and fixed price projects - to multinational and Chinese firms in China.
- Establishing of an extensive network of industry contacts and a “talent pool” of Energy Engineering Consultants.
- Client relationship management. Creating and maintaining a “happy Client” and assuring steady business growth in existing Client accounts. Negotiating and managing Client contracts, assuring the quality of project deliverables and profitability of Client relationships.
- Driving recruitment, and managing the career development of your team of Engineering Consultants.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Business or Engineering a must. An MBA or Masters in Engineering a plus.
- 3+ years working experience selling Engineering services to the Energy industry a must. 3+ years working as an Engineer or Project Manager in Aerospace a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and business acumen. A self starter, with consistent “can-do” spirit, able to work independently but also highly collaborative.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese a must.
