职位描述
Report to: Global purchasing manager
Major Responsibility:
? Develop and execute sourcing strategies for localization and cost reduction;
? Responsible for assigned categories performance in terms of cost reduction, quality, delivery and safety;
? Monitoring and driving supplier improvement on quality system and on time delivery;
? Responsible for supplier contract negotiation, renew & update suppliers' agreements;
? Search & develop to maintain a qualified and potential supply base in China for assigned categories;
? Follow up and execute localization and cost reduction projects schedule with suppliers;
? Follow up/execute engineering/design changes according to drawings/specification.
? Responsible for executing the entire sourcing process from supplier assessment, RFQ, quote analysis, negotiation, supplier selection and approval, sample order, parts approval and serial production;
? Execution of other tasks related to purchasing support which has been assigned by direct manager.
Requirement:
? Good English abilities.
? University degree in engineering or other technical degree.
? Be able to work independently.
? Create and sign agreement and have experience in international trade and commercial laws (basics).
? Experience from working with western countries and companies (sourcing from China into Europe/US).
? SCM-knowledge (logistics, workflow, cost efficiency)
? Preferably have an existing network of suppliers that suit our industry.
? Good knowledge about metal products and Al. profile/extrusion products.
? Four years at least of working experiences in the related field.
? Be able to read and to understand technical design drawings.
? Experience of heavy line industry.
? Experience in Laser cutting and advanced high strength steel bending.
? Experience in Welding equipment and processes.
? Material knowledge within:
o High strength steel (SSAB, Ruukki, HSS)
o High strength Aluminum
? Experience in various type of Casting:
o Aluminum casting
o Iron casting
? Strong sense of responsibility, honest, hardworking and good communication skills.
