Senior Marketing Officer
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end marketing program budget planning & cost tracking and to deliver all key tasks within planned program budget.
- Manage vendor sourcing to ensure competitive price of good quality following procurement guideline.
- Closely track the marketing initiatives result to drive good return or learning from marketing or hospitality investment.
- Perform end-to-end detailed expense tracking for all branding/sponsorship initiatives. Prepare monthly marketing budget/ expense report in responsible areas to track budget & expense and match the figure with finance report figure.
- Work closely with all Retail business stakeholders to drive successful delivery of Retail initiatives to maximize internal & external customers satisfaction;
- Display good understanding of business needs and be able to provide professional advice on marketing initiatives
- Be the key coordinator and driver to manage Retail marketing initiatives execution in line with plan including customer acquisition, product/ service launch, merchandise/gift sourcing, customer communication and collateral development.
- Be professional when dealing with vendors/ agencies/ partnering association and be ableto drive quality deliverables by the third parties including group assigned media agency, creative agency, partnering hotels, associations, production/ gift vendors, etc.
- Be familiar with Marketing Process and be able to implement all critical process independently:
- Be disciplined to manage payment and marketing expense tracking by evaluate actual expense vs. planned expense; follow required payment process to seek necessary endorsement for all requests.
- Following proper gift and merchandise sourcing, procurement guideline to ensure best offer with good quality.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with key internal & external stakeholders to drive program implementation and on-time delivery
- Collaborate across teams to drive cross-team project management & execution
- Participate in assigned training effectively and continuously develop marketing/ project management skills
- Be able to work independently and proactively to drive business result and fulfilment.
- Ensure Risk and Assurance escalation processes are followed
- Ensure Group brand guidelines are followed
- Ensure compliance processes are followed
- Ensure gift procurement guideline are followed
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or above;
- Relevant 4-7 years of working experience in PR and marketing
- From foreign banks having relevant marketing experience working for Retail banking or corporate banking
- From other financial institutions, or non-financial company (e.g. FMCG, B2B Technology Companies, etc), preferably from big corporations
- Sound understanding of local PR norms and regulations
- Qualifications in Marketing, Public Relations, Customer Care is a plus
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
- Excellent organisational and task coordination skills
- Excellent computer literacy, especially MS PowerPoint, desktop publishing, MS Sharepoint and web-based communication tools
