LTE System Testing Engineer
Description
-Complete ownership of modem feature testing, starting from the requirement analysis till feature validation and verification preferably at platform level
-Understanding test process, new features as per project system requirements
-Responsible for test case designing, simulation, implementation thru scripting
-Test execution on live network and in lab using network simulators
- Ensure on-time deliveries of all system test plan, specs & reports
-Support the development process by participation in all appropriate project meetings with verification manager/project managers and with development team
Qualifications
-Bachelor / Master in Computer science, electronics/electrical, communication engineering or information technology is a MUST
-Knowledge and work experience of 3-7 years working on GSM, 3G modem on UE side including LTE (FDD, TDD) for at least 2 years
-Knowledge of air interface protocols of 3GPP spec standards
-Experience in using test equipment as network simulators: Agilent, R&S, Anite etc
-Scripting knowledge: TTCN2, TTCN3 and scripting on the network simulators
-Experience in requirement analysis, test strategy for modem features, test case designing, simulation, implementation & execution
-Experience in trace analysis on mobile and on network side
-Exposure to platform development and verification lifecycle
-Good team work, excellent communications skills in English (written & spoken)
-Excellent problem solving skills
-Proactive, team working and strong ability on learning new features
-Strong customer orientation skills, even working together with customers for show stopper issues.
-Open to travel to customer sites for support
