Title: Software Development Engineer in Test
Responsibilities:
- Working in a team environment with PM, DEV, and UX to own a feature area and drive owned features from feature definition to release
- Creating the test plans and cases covering all important test areas such as functionality, performance, security, etc.
- Designing the automation cases and ensure quality at component, and E2E level.
- Creating or improving test tools & automation infrastructure.
- Shipping products that meet or exceed requirements for market, business, and organizational success.
- Coach vendor testers to run manual test and develop automated test cases.
Education and Qualifications:
- Candidates must possess a passion for quality & software testing
- Be proactive and a strong analytical problem solver
- Strong communication skills are required
- Strong technical skills, good at programming languages like C#, ASP.net, power shell
- Good at English reading/writing/speaking
- Very familiar with software development lifecycle, and its engineering process
- 3+ years of software testing experiences with rich testing skills and automation skills
- Experience shipping high-quality software through at least 1 full commercial product release cycle
- Testing experience on Web application, and domain knowledge on search engine is preferred
- A degree in computer science or related engineering fields is preferred
