Job Description：

We are currently seeking a talented development leader to build and supervise our data management team. You will be part of a young and exciting company that is already being recognized as a market leader in the Pharma CRM space. As leader of the data management team, you will be responsible for managing a development team up to 10 people to maintain and optimize one of the biggest database in pharmaceutical industry in China. The successful candidate will need to work hard, be persistent and demonstrate “out of the box” thinking. Your contributions will be critical as the company continues to rapidly increase business value in China.

Key responsibilities:

1. Development Team Management (30%)
a. Plan and oversee the development execution
b. Ensure the quality of deliverables (data/code/software/system/project support)
2. Lead the development team for data Crawler/Spider/Robot/Bot System Development and Maintenance (30%)
a. Regular data crawling development and operation
b. Regular data processing operation
c.Regular code optimization
d. DBA
3. Lead the development team for Data Processing (30%)
a. Process the new crawled data into standard data format which is ready for importing into production environment
4. Lead the development team for Project Support Based on Customer Requirements (10%)
Support internal and external requests for ad-hoc data reporting, customer data mapping, cleansing, validation etc.

Requirements:

Have 5+ years of hand-on commercial experiences in RDBMS, particularly SQL Server, for SQL Script, Store Procedure, Job and Trigger with a bachelor or above degree major in computer science or other equivalent.
2. Proven experiences in web crawler/spider/robot/search technology, familiar with one or more crawlers such as DataparkSearch, GUN Wget, Lucene, GRUB, Heritrix, HTTrack, ICDL, mnoGoSearch, Nutch or Seeks, to capture, convert and consolidate required unstructured data from web pages into structured database. Familiar with Multi-threaded downloader and Scheduler. Can query and parse data from GIS.
3. Good at data loading, standardization, mapping, issue data trouble shooting and so forth.
4. Most importantly, hold a close attention to details and keep constant tabs on data issue/quality, and are proficient in data analyzing and reporting. Be extremely analytical and cautious yet without losing a view of the big picture and a sense of the tight deadline.
5. Experience in managing a team including junior programmers.
6. Good conceptual, organizational and communication skills
7. Lastly, ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and managers; comfortable with 10% to 20% business travel.

Nice to Have:

1. Prior work on search engines like Google, Baidu, Soso Sogou etc. is highly desired.
2. Experiences in GIS spatial data API are particularly welcome.
3. Ideally, possessing knowledge in Hospital Information System, Pharmaceutical Sales Force Territory Alignment and/or Master Data Management tools is definitely a plus. Likewise, basic understanding of Data Warehouse concepts and Business Intelligence tools are highly preferred. As well, the proficiency in Excel Pivot Table and Access for data processing and ETL tool to convert data format/schema between systems is preferred.
4. Ability to communicate in English is a plus.
