Job Title Senior Power electronics engineer
Location: Xian China
Job Description: This position is a key member of the ESP Xian team, supporting the power electronics application including IGBT, HVIC, DCIC etc, as well as circuit design, layouting, testing, data analysis and some of special projects in the imotion platform. Supporting both internal design team and customer application.
Role and Responsibilities
？ support to test HVIC, IGBT, DCIC for all application area.
？ Create testing report including data collection, waveform capture, curve generation.
？ Reference board design and evaluation, reference board specification definition along with senior engineer.
？ Work with senior engineer to support local FAEs and sales to follow up with customers and solve technical issues to win design ins
？ Assist to compare/evaluate competitive products and perform SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats) analyses.


Qualifications and Education Requirements
- BSEE in power electronics
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant design/build/test experience in power electronics.

- Experience with power device testing and evaluation.
- Experience with design techniques, test methodologies and qualification protocols
- Experience in testing HVICs, IGBT, FETs and diodes.
- Experience with thermal models and able to test with appropriate methods.
- Experience with choosing the right passive and active components.
- Familiarity with MS Office, experience in Mathcad and PCB layout software a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in Chinese and English
