Responsibilities
? Favorably negotiate and execute Specialty Leasing and Kiosk agreements with retailers to achieve center budgets.
? Maintain a strong and healthy working relationship both internally and externally.
? Prospect regularly for new local and regional retail concepts, while maintaining relationships with current retailers and prospective clients.
? Maintain and update lead activity for Kiosk and RMU retailers.
? Assist with the monthly forecasting process.
? Manage administration support/expense report submission.
? Secure yearly specialty leasing Plan implementation
Knowledge
Mandatory for the position
? 3 + years in retail, shopping center industry, preferably Leasing, Specialty Leasing, Sponsorships or revenue generation and sales
? Strong understanding of the local demographics, top sales categories and sales for key retailers, market conditions and leasing’s most up-to-date activity.
? Understanding of retail trends in fashion, accessory and giftware.
? Strong understanding of retail and its relation to negotiated deal points.
? Be the subject matter expert for specialty leasing and Kiosk with a strong understanding of the discipline and centre vision
Education
? University education or 3-5 years retail industry related experience is preferred
Capabilities/Skills
? Good interpersonal, organizational, time management, oral and written communication skills
? Good Business sense to conclude the deal with a good understanding of the business of retail and its relation to negotiated deal points.
? Good negotiation skills and being able to engage with entrepreneurs, small business operators and national retailers
? Ability to deal with multiple projects and tasks effectively and establish priorities
? Self-motivated, proactive individual with a positive attitude
? Self-directed, self-confident individual who is achievement and sales oriented
Specific Organizational Requirements
? Business travels 25-30 days / year nationally
? Flexible working hours including weekends.
