职位描述
Position Summary
The selected candidate will take the lead for moderately complex projects that generally have been assigned a medium to high corporate priority. The candidate will be the subject matter expert and offer advice in areas including project management, setup of local project offices, project scope definition, risk identification, project methodology, resource allocation, and facilitation. The candidate will maintain control of any construction schedule, cost, safety, quality, and customer expectations/satisfaction at all times. The candidate will be expected to present to management and/or customers on project updates, project cycle, and expected results. They would also be responsible for Vendor management to ensure projects are closed on time and in scope.
Specific Accountabilities
- Communication / Coordination
Ensure strong consistent communication and coordination The candidate will be responsible for the communication and status reporting to all project staff including but not limited to the customer and Tyco Management. They will also be responsible for work plans, managing project resources, duty assignment, technical advice and problem/issue resolution.
- Fiscal
Responsible for tracking the projects financial status.
Maintains full financial responsibility for the project. The candidate will report on the financial trends relevant to the project. They will report in a fashion suitable to both Tyco and the customer.
- Quality
Maintain full accountability for the quality assurance and quality control for the project. This would include but not be limited to, regular site inspections, regular inspections of the installation & workmanship and regular checks of the installation against drawings and standards.
- Processes & Technology
Maintain proficiency in core Tyco systems.
Facilitate reporting of relevant information and coordinate with administrators to gain client information from the scope of existing and future Tyco service systems. Facilitate reporting of relevant information.
Constantly improve procedures and processes within the division for the betterment of the clients and of TycoProactively seek improvements in efficiency and effectiveness in the fields of service levels, processes and administration support.
Provide innovative feedback internally and externally on management improvements.
- EH&S
Compliance to EH&S requirements Assist in maintain a healthy and safe workplace, and an environment free from harm wherever work is being performed by complying with the company’s EHS procedures and by using the correct tools and equipment for the job.
Identify potential hazards and assess the risks of the hazards prior to commencing a job. Take action to control the risk where possible or report to the supervisor where the risk is beyond the individuals' control.
Report all incidents immediately, even if considered minor, to the supervisor. Provide input to incident investigations and if necessary, cooperate with return to work plans following injury.
Probation
1. The successful candidate will be placed on 3 months’ probation.
2. Regular meetings will be held with the successful candidate to provide feedback and record relevant actions, behaviour etc.
Travel
60% or as needed.
Qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience
1. With a deep understanding of project management methodology the candidate will possess knowledge in the key areas of integration, scope, time, cost, quality, HR, communications, risk and procurement.
2. Minimum 1-2 years similar project management work experience in companies from the security industry or similar.
3. Experience in an MNC would be looked upon favourably.
4. Excellent oral, written and presentation skills with ability to present to senior level executives as well represent the company professionally at all times.
5. Strong business and analytical skills
6. Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree or equivalent work experience of at least five years
7. PMI PMP (Project Management Institute, Project Management Professional) certification preferred or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of employment in the position.
