What are my responsibilities?

Business related

- As part of the software sales team, participate in the sales process to facilitate sales of software.

- Lead the engagement with customers and prospects to gather high level customer business and technical requirements understand existing information technology infrastructure and determine customer’s business needs as part of the sales effort.

- Utilizing advanced knowledge of customer business needs, engineering and manufacturing processes, industry best practices and competitive differentiation, support product and solution positioning by leading the preparation and delivery of demonstrations of the technical capabilities of the proposed solutions to customers using customised and standard material.

- Speak with authority and be a trusted advisor on our customer's business issues, and how SISW can improve their business.

- Lead the selection of appropriate suites of technology, the development of proposals for customer process improvement which ensure the interoperability and effectiveness of the overall solution within the context of the customer’s business.

- Works on highly complex issues/projects.

- May provide guidance and mentoring to others on the capabilities and business value of the Company's products and solutions.

General

- Uphold the professional integrity of Siemens at all times

- Adhere to, and promote, all core internal and customer processes relating to the effective undertaking of the role

- Undertake any business administration in line with job activity

- Undertake any other duties required by the company.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

Essential

- Master degree in Marine, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Computer Science or above.

- Enterprise application (ERP, PLM, CAD, CAE) or shipbuilding solution software experiences is a must.

- Knowledge of SISW product suite or similar

- At least 5 years of shipbuilding industry experience including 3 or more years with mission critical enterprise software implementation such as CAD, CAE, PDM or PLM.

Desirable

- Experience in supporting ship design and manufacturing area in establishing the environment for the product development and manufacturing process, including policy, procedures, and data authorizing and management such as design tools, design platform, design to manufacturing, digital manufacturing and IT plan of ship industry.

- PLM experience in Korean/Japan ship industry.

- Detail oriented with a strong desire to succeed.
