-For our I&C Sector in Beijing, we are looking for a Electrical Commissioning Engineer.

What are my responsibilities?
-Technical support in development and enhancement of own products (e.g. conveyors, sorters, special equipment) to meet business needs of both AL (Airport Logistics) and CEP (Courier Express and Parcel)
-Identify, qualify and monitor suppliers for manufacturing of own products
-Be responsible to manage the comprehensive data repository of information relating to own products
-Support customer projects with the implementation of own products
-Report to the LAS PE/PM manager

What do I need to qualify for this job?
-at least five years experience as a mechanical engineer
-at least 2 years proven experience working within the logistics business
-experience/knowledge in manufacturing process flow/method for sheet metal, bending, laser cutting, welding, galvanizing, powder coating, wet painting
-self-motivated
-confidence and capability of working independently and delivering results without supervision
-very structured and capable of handling large amounts of data
-honest, reliable and hard working
-good communication skills, fluent in written and spoken English
-readiness for limited travel
-The following will be advantageous in evaluation of the applicant's assessment
-experience/knowledge in electrical engineering and installation methods
-experience/knowledge regarding norms and regulations (e.g. DIN, ISO, GB code)
-experience with AutoCad Desktop, Mechanical Architecture
-experience with 3D Development Software (e.g. Inventor, UG, Solid Works), knowledge

-The Siemens Mobility and Logistics Division provides solutions to customers whose business models are based on optimizing passenger and freight transport. The Division bundles all Siemens business related to management of international traffic, transport, and logistics. This includes railway automation, infrastructure logistics, intelligent traffic and transport systems, and technologies for developing the infrastructure for electric mobility.
