职位描述

Position Description:
• Work with the Sales Director to achieve maximum sales profitability and growth in China by effectively selling Boeing's products
• Be responsible for handling sales assignments and feedback
• Leverage resources and knowledge of Boeing products, services, processes, and operations to support customer commitments, gain competitive advantages, and foster business growth
• Create, maintain, and advance customer relationships to become a trusted business partner
• Develop in-depth knowledge of customer business, culture, requirements, and related topics to gain competitive advantages
• Assist the Sales Director in sales campaign efforts, including sales visit, frequent contact with existing and potential customer airlines in China, support for sales product presentations, configuration discussions, and contract negotiations for assigned accounts
• Interface with customers and internal Boeing resources to keep all parties apprised of key issues
• Work with the Sales Team to provide business case analysis, as well as to develop and obtain authorization to proceed with customer solutions
• Lead sales and campaign activities by executing strategies and tactics to foster business growth with acceptable margins
• Assist in the preparation of proposals by developing themes and discriminators, and by reviewing the statement of work, cost estimates, executive summary, and pricing
• Research, review, and analyze information about competitors' products and services, and leverage these to improve the competitive position and secure customer and vendor commitments on behalf of The Boeing Company
• Provide support to other sales activities in China, such as sales marketing classes and meetings, Boeing executives' visits to China, customer visits to the United States, air shows, and aviation exhibitions in China
• Serve as a liaison person with regard to the support of daily routine after-sales activities, including coordinating correspondence from customer airlines to Boeing or vice versa and account payable requirements
• Collect information and data and provide prompt feedback to Seattle, with regard to customer requirements, market environment, and other sales-related interest
• Partner with Boeing Capital Corporation (BCC) for the related business of aviation leasing and finance
• Undertake duties as assigned, which are subject to change per management requirements


Competencies:
• Possess more than 10 years’ experience in the aviation industry, with a focus on sales
• Possess aviation and related banking customer knowledge
• Possess aviation financing and leasing knowledge and skill
• Possess excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
• Able to be a highly proactive and self-motivated individual
• Able to work independently when required
• Possess a strong command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• Able to travel within China and to the United States when required
• Able to apply Boeing Leadership Attributes to assigned roles and responsibilities

Other Job Related Information:
This requisition is for an international, locally hired position. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the country where the position is located. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of any Boeing U.S.-based payroll.
