Job Duites (or attach job description)/Brief of Job

- Responsible for identifying new potential suppliers, leading the supplier selection process, interacting with sector and divisional teams as required.

- Perform ongoing assessment of sourcing alternatives by defining and using request for proposal (RFP) and request for Quote (RFQ) processes.

- Prepare recommendations for sourcing based on robust decision analysis, risk analysis, supplier evaluation and RFP & RFQ responses.

- Project leadership for transfer activities within the supply chain managing deliverables for effective transfer of designs, manufacturing or other services.

- Conduct research across spend or product categories to assist in the quantification of selection, savings targets/cost down activities.

- Support ECM, contract management and terms implementation for supplier agreements.

- Develop product and technology supply chain roadmaps for Mid-Tier products with R&D teams.

- Work closely with the E&D team to establish the supply channel, qualified suppliers, cost evaluation supporting supply chain for new products.

- Lead developing and preparation of regular KPI reports.

- Facilitate ongoing supply chain management, decision analysis, risk management and maintain associated data and reporting processes.

Requirements

- BA/BS in the areas of Engineering, Supply Management or Business
- 5 years of experience in sourcing or supply chain management in related areas including purchasing, service contracting, negotiations, and contract development.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications,

- Strong business ethics and compliance skills.
- General knowledge of project management and financial analysis, contract knowledge and ability to interpret legal documents preferred.
- Ability to travel as required supporting supplier management activities.
- Excellent communication, presentation and conflict resolution skills desired
