The Solution Consultant will be responsible for the flowing activities:

* In cooperation with sales, produce creative solutions for enterprise customers’ requirements on networking, IT infrastructure and ancillary areas

* Collaborate with internal resources; including Access Management, Product, Network Engineering and Global Services teams to develop best of breed solutions matching customers’ requirements

* Identify and negotiate third party solutions in support of intra- and inter-regional sales activity

* Negotiate with suppliers for competitive off-net solutions and actively explore other potential alternate suppliers for benchmarking.

* Provide cross function and cross region support to Enterprise/Wholesale presales for global / regional network requirements

* Assist Bid team to complete formal RFP response for Enterprise customers’ data network projects and / or IT infrastructure projects, including International Leased Circuits, layer 2 and layer 3 MPLS network, and Value Added Solutions.

Skills/Experience/Qualifications:

* 5-7 years of proven Carrier, networking or Internet Service Provider experience

* Experience in working on Global carrier work environment and skilled in engaging different regions’ sales and technical expertise, managing multi-partners, and coordinating of global resources

* Knowledge of global WAN products like IPLC, Ethernet private line, layer 2 and layer 3 MPLS VPN, and IP transit solutions

* CCNP or similar certification, or equivalent skill in IP engineering

* Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills / techniques. Good command of written and spoken English. Native or native level Chinese language skill is a must.

* Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Power Point
