JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
? Support the execution of MLS product strategy for sales growth and profitability in cooperation with sales or agents in the defined area.
? Support sales to get hold of the customer’s objectives and get the appropriate sales arguments for the products through to the customer.
? In cooperation with the sales organization, obtain detailed market intelligence.
? Apply appropriate market pricing in cooperation with sales based on obtained market intelligence.
? Proactively promote internal OEM business, where applicable through contacts, support and cooperation with project team, LCS/service team or capital equipment team.
? Collect information about potential and actively provide support for quarterly Estimates as well as to the long term market activity plan, in cooperation with the sales organization.
? Support sales team in highest level customer negotiations.
? Quote the most profitable solution for the customer as well as for Metso.
? Make, register and file quotations and other information in accordance to MLS instructions.
? Conduct Mill Lining product training to sales/service and new colleagues in the field.
? Provide sales area organization insights into the ML product development process and being carrier of RTD ideas.
? Handle warranties and claims to be solved in best possible way according to MLS policies, using appropriate internal interfaces.
? Follow up on installations and gather information for application improvements.
? Perform contracts review (orders).
? Regularly update and maintain the information about Installed Base and mill lining object files.
? Plan and participate in end customer visits aligned with the sales team to support selling efforts, monitor distribution resource competencies and end user satisfaction. Work with the sales teams on required corrective actions.
? Perform other duties as assigned by management from time to time.

? Position requires support expertise, good customer relation skills, ability to work within a team environment, mechanical aptitude, creativity, innovation, and ability to see the larger picture.
? High sense of urgency and passion for service and support.
? Ability to pick up and correctly apply product application know-how.
? Supervision skills and ability to take part of installation and service work.
? Strong relationship building skills, a bias for action and detail-oriented behaviors.
? Highly motivated individual with the ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
? Client skills including building and managing relationships, negotiation skills and understanding of customer existing/future needs/objectives and market requirements.
? Must be capable of effectively and accurately working on several projects at one time, and organizing, prioritizing tasks and working in a fast paced environment.Strong communication, co-operation, interpersonal and presentation skills to manage internal and external interfaces.
? Ability to make correct activity-plan priorities in cooperation with sales to develop mill lining sales and profitability.
? Normal computer skills to handle the required software’s of Metso and MLS.
? Ability to travel frequently and even with short notice.
? Full drivers license with clean drivers record.
? While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
? The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and climb or balance.
? The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
? Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
? Use of keyboards, telephones, copiers, visits and movement through shops, and travel experiences.
? Climbing of stairs, ladders, scaffolds at jobsites and customer facilities.
? Be able to perform on mine site liner inspections.
