Job description
The candidate is responsible for selling technical value and accelerating market adoption of Rational's state-of-the-art end-to-end DevOps solutions, including:
- Identifying new sales opportunities
- Soliciting and securing clients' business requirements
- Writing technically oriented business proposals, demos, PoCs, PoTs
- Creating and sharing reusable sales assets
- Partnering with sales and extended IBM teams
The aim of all above is to close deals and servicing to ensure client success.
Required skills:
The candidate must have minimum 8-10 years of experience in real-world software development and software selling.
- He/she must be able to work independently under minimum supervisor to drive a sales opportunity from identification to technical selling to closure to servicing.
- He/she must have superior leadership, communications, and organizational skills, and must be able to lead and work effectively with IBM team mates, business partners, and clients toward a mutually beneficial business objective.
- He/she must be familiar with the popular software delivery methodologies such as Agile/DevOps, and some popular new technologies such as Cloud/Mobility.
- He/she must be good at the some of the following software areas, including methodologies and tools, such as requirement management, collaborative development, automatic testing, software architecture, software release and deployment and software configuration and change management.
- He/she had better be familiar with Rational product family.
Required
Bachelor's Degree
English: Intermediate
