The area: Sales Operations
Sales Operations is the global team that makes sure Google's complex business runs smoothly. Experts in driving process improvements and consistency, team members are analytical and strategic with a pragmatic sense of getting things done. They develop revenue programs, launch initiatives and set high-level goals that accelerate growth and improve productivity.
The role: Strategy and Sales Operations Manager - Beijing
Our Strategy & Sales Operations team is responsible for the development of our commercial business strategies in China, as well as co-ordinating the execution of these strategies by ensuring that we have the right processes, reporting, resources and skills in place. This role is both strategic and operational in nature, and we are looking for an experienced professional who is skilled and comfortable switching between the two. Reporting to the APAC Director of Country Sales Operations, you will use your exceptional analytical skills and an ability to derive insight from complex data, to support the development of persuasive plans that will guide the strategic direction of Google's China business. You will also work closely with sales teams to lead innovation, design, roll-out and ongoing operation of our sales processes. Last but not least you will have the opportunity to work on regional well as global initiatives and with teams scattered across APAC and the world. This is a challenging role requiring the combination of a range of diverse skills and will provide wide exposure to China sales teams and Senior Management within and outside China.


Responsibilities:
Identify, define and drive processes and deliverables associated with strategic planning and business operations.
Identify and lead cross-functional projects to optimize sales efficiency, improve business processes and accelerate growth through analysis and operational execution.
Define and deliver analytics to support targeted selling, including vertical analysis, pipeline management, lead flow optimization and customer profiling.
Structure and package analyses, strategies and recommendations into highly effective, compelling communication and presentations to various audiences, including senior executives.
Own and manage multiple strategic projects and work programmes on both an on-going and an ad-hoc basis, working collaboratively across the global organization.


Minimum qualifications:
BA/BS degree (In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant work experience).


Preferred qualifications:
5 years experience from a top company, high growth firm, leading consulting firm or investment bank; 2 years of operational experience.
Superior interpersonal and communication skills. Fluency in English and Chinese.
Considerable modeling, analytics and presentation skills, including the ability to take complex, ambitious topics and create compelling narratives for different audiences.
Self-directed, proactive and solution-focused; with the ability to take initiative.
Proven ability to operationalize strategic priorities.
