Purpose of the role:
The Account Technology Specialist works as a key Technica- Sales resource for Loca- accounts and Partners, providing technica- leadership to customers in this business segment. The Account Technology Specialist assists in finding new, and advancing existing, business opportunities and developing / expanding key relationships as a technica- guidance to customers resulting in expanded deployments of Microsoft Technology in Accounts.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Relationships are established with the CIO and/or IT decision-makers within accounts.
- Accountable for Microsoft technica- architecture directions for Accounts.
- Independently contributes to, and provides strategic leadership for others in influencing positive increases in customer / partner satisfaction ratings within and outside of assigned area.
- Strategically analyzes the risks, benefits and opportunities of various solutions on a regular basis.
- Influences product development and direction based on customer requirements.
- Increased deployments of Microsoft technologies throughout the account base
- Quickly and efficiently sorts through data to identify key issues or variables to consider in making critically important strategic decisions.
- Consultative Technica- Sales via customer proactive customer communications, meetings, architectura- briefings, strategy briefings.
- Understands high leve- customer requirements and develops a detailed plan to achieve customer objectives with virtua- team and partners.
- Demonstrates the ability to excite customers and generate awareness of new possibilities that can yield additiona- product and services revenue.
- Demonstrates critica- listening skills related to customer needs and ability to understand business value.
- Articulate solution / product offering strategies with an excellent understanding of both the customer's business and competitive landscape.
- Independently delivers articulate, tailored and effective presentations to audiences of al- types.
- Responsible for executing technica- sales activities in Account Sales Plan and partially managing MSSP opportunity pipeline.
- Demonstrated ability to recognize new solutions / product and services revenue opportunities.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years experiences on large projects' implementation and 3 years development experience;
- Be familiar with manufacture, airline, retail, etc. - industry;
- Able to interface and communicate with designated customer partners / SIs and the need to act as an "agent" of change on behalf of customer;
- Demonstrated ability to recognize new solutions / product and services revenue opportunities
