职位描述

POSITION: Sarment On-trade Sales Manager (Chengdu)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
As Sarment’s On-trade Sales Manager in Chengdu, the position holder will lead the on-trade sales activities of the company in the Chengdu area to support its growth and expansion strategy in Greater China.

S/he will take charge of the on-trade sales channel in hotels, clubs and restaurants. S/he needs to be ambitious and dedicated to the development of good client and partner relations in the Chengdu area. The goal is to lead Sarment’s effort to become a leading and visible player in the premium wine industry in China together with other sales managers.

Team work and trans-regional collaboration with the company’s other teams in Greater China will be a must so as to best contribute to the company’s overall positioning and results.

S/he will report to the Sales Director of Greater China

The position will entail the following responsibilities:
Achieve volume and value budget sales and targets as set by the Sales Director;
Be familiar with all company products and its categorized pricing structure;
Implement marketing programs as directed by the Director of Marketing;
Work diligently in developing new potential accounts in the designated territory and subsequently increase sales volumes in the hotel, club and restaurant segment within company guidelines;
Conduct regular sales visits for all the active accounts to maintain and develop further business partnerships;
Check daily sales reports on back orders;
Follow company policy to avoid bad debt;
Have sufficient understanding and perceptivity in order to be able to target customers’ needs and take into account each unique business environment when conducting business;
Work with the Sales Director to help devise and develop corporate sales strategies for the company;
Collaborate with other sales team members and be able to manage a team.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 5 years of the relevant experience in wine, luxury or F&B
Leadership qualities
Negotiation skills
Result-driven personality
Knowledge of wine, customer expectations and brand(s)
Analytical skills
P&L management
Strategic thinking skills
Sales ethics and sensitivity to legal issues and competition law
Bilingual in English and Chinese (speaking and writing)
