Materials
? Receive and enter materials into inventory
? Schedule production
? Stage outgoing products
? Work with production on setting up material storage and handling procedures
? Inventory Control
? Master planning arrange and control
? Track incoming and outgoing material qtys
? Track WIP and completed product qtys
? Track metrics for the following:
o On-time delivery
o Defective product
o Inventory $$$’s
o Inventory turns
o Returned product
? Retrieve and deliver product to marketing and technical staff for training, in-house usage, displays, etc.

Logistics
? Work with forwarders to arrange and schedule shipments into Kunshan
? Collect shipping documentation from forwarders and vendors
? Process shipping and customs documentation
? Work with customs brokers to define product and HS codes
? Work with forwarder and customs broker to schedule delivery and timing of materials into Kunshan
? Arrange freight and delivery of dealer shipments out of Kunshan on behalf of customers.
? Arrange freight and schedule shipments from vendors to third parties, i.e. Ecowater
? Work with forwarder and customs broker to delay imports and customs clearance when necessary
? Arrange the loading and unloading of trucks and containers

Warehousing

Manage both internal & contracted warehouses
Daily warehouse EHS auditing
Inventory management & control


Planning & Forecast:

Work with Sales department to manage three to six months sales forecast
Daily production planning




Procurement
? Work with production, marketing, and sales departments to define materials and equipment to be procured based on forecast and need
? Evaluate vendors to locate appropriate suppliers
? Work with vendors to acquire quotations, samples, certifications, etc.
? Arrange for samples to be sent for testing/analysis to determine if key specs and requirements can be met.
? Negotiate pricing, payment terms, freight terms, MOQ, etc.
? Draft and develop terms and conditions, contracts, liability forms, agreements, etc. between Kunshan Ecowater and qualified vendors
? Release and track purchase orders for inventory items as well as non-inventory items, fixed capital, etc.
? Place orders with vendors on behalf of third parties
? Assist finance and accounting departments to receive and process payment for procured parts and equipment.

Sourcing for Third Parties
? Monitor and report on sourcing projects for US Ecowater and Marmon Water
? Work with US and Singapore buyers and engineers to source material and equipment from China, Taiwan, Korea, etc.
? Audit potential suppliers and work with present suppliers to improve quality
? Find and develop secondary suppliers for currently sourced materials
? Arrange and consolidate shipments to third parties when possible

Additional Goals and Objectives
? Streamline factory material flow
? Consolidate product forecast, ordering management and material flow into one system focused on the customer & sales driving
? Create floor plans, materials maps, and product flow for WIP, finished goods, material hold areas, non-conformance product, etc.
? Increase inventory turns / Decrease inventory $$$’s.
? Create additional staffing positions for Materials Dept. i.e. scheduling, shipping/receiving, etc.
? Move customs declaration process to Shanghai
? Review and change HS codes to decrease duty rates
? Build a domestic shipping database to streamline customer deliveries
? Reduce freight costs by $$%
? Set up metrics to track supplier quality and performance
? Set up vendor managed inventory programs to help alleviate strained factory space
? Distribute procurement activities to allow better concentration on key items
? Set up vendor penalties for late deliveries, poor quality, etc.
? Establish additional corporate buying programs to take advantage of global volumes and rebate programs
? Set up and track timelines for key sourcing projects
? Consolidate sourcing activities for Kunshan Ecowater, Ecowater Systems and Marmon Water
? Set up separate sourcing group to focus on key sourcing projects
? Identify and develop secondary sources for high value materials like resin and PWAs
? Identify and develop relationships with key sources for tooling, injection parts, etc.


Qualifications
Minimum 8 years work experience in supply chain management especially in master planning, purchasing and sourcing
Bachelor Degree
Fluent English
Be good at Data analysis
Familiar with CRM, Sage X3 or similar ERP system
EHS trained
Customer oriented and have strong initiatives, teamwork with passions
Strong team leader who can motivate, guide and train the team members
Experience with sales forecast process is a plus
Excellent communication and problem solving skills
