Essential Responsibilities
A program offered by GE Water & Process Technologies to accelerate the development of technically oriented sales and service professionals.
The program is 24 months in duration, and consists of 1-3 assignments. Participants are required to engage in technical, sales, and leadership training offered by the company in a variety of methodologies including online, hands-on, and classroom training. On program, candidates will have exposure to technical experts, as well as sales leadership to broaden their experience. Our top regional representatives also guide program members throughout their assignments to ensure they are exposed to the most important aspects of solutions selling, and mentor members for future career development. The ultimate outcome is 360-degree exposure to GE’s proven sales, service, & value delivery model. After program completion, members are evaluated for open sales roles within GE Water & Process Technologies. This program has served as a strong foundation in building the pipeline for future sales leaders.
Qualifications/Requirements
• Chemical or Environmental Engineering Engineering or BSc (Biology or Chemistry) with strong academic achievement
• University graduates or Candidate with less than 1 year working experiences is preferred
• Demonstrated personal initiative and leadership, team and communication s kills
• Willing to relocate within China
• Demonstrated sales/people skills and/or aptitude.
• The candidate must possess solid communication skills (both written and verbal English).
• Demonstrated computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• The candidate must be willing to work independently (after proper training) and be a self-starter.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours, at times. Flexibility is a must.
• Ability and willingness to reside in location of assignment and to travel within territory.
• Previous experience in water treatment and/or sales, through internship, co-op or full-time work experience is preferred.
