Mission:

Manage the engineering of new plastic part, molds and process until to the SOP.

Define and implement improvements in materials, designs and processes resulting in measurable improvement of quality, costs and delivery

Essential functions:

· Responsible for development of processes that yields parts conforming to specifications in order to meet the requirement of quality, cost and delivery time.

• Provide support on new product launch tooling and process at each milestone through production, providing the manufacturing and engineering inputs for development of new process, parts and tooling.

· Lead the tooling design and approval process. Define the mould specification, process & maintenance document and validate dimensional and functional jigs and fixtures. Support tooling validation to ensure reliable and robust production processes.

· Identify lean & continuous improvement (e.g. cycle time times, scrap, quality, material cost reduction, regrind implementation, etc.) to existing process and tooling related to current product lines with regard to the cost, quality, and/or design.

· Analyze data on returns from production, supplier and consumer feedback to initiate corrective and preventative actions (cost breakdown, problem solving, trouble shooting…).

· Involve in a global coordination to share and define standards. Identify and investigate potential new tooling concepts and processes.

· Apply in his field safety procedure and have a role model in safety rule appliance.

Requirement:

Engineer degree in plastic or mechanical engineering engineer degree

5 years in Mold engineering or injection molding experience
