FINANCE MANAGER (CHINA)

Our client is a European Manufacturing company with a big set-up in Shandong province – one hour transport from Tianjin.

DESCRIPTION OF OVERALL FUNCTION/PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The Finance Manager is in charge of daily financial activities including; preparation of month end accounts, VAT returns, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments, audits and year end statutory accounts, as well as setting and checking targets and monitoring the performance of other departments within the business in line with their set budgets.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
? Lead and supervise employees in the finance department to record and book all business transactions accurately and on time, consistent with Group policies, accounting standards and statutory regulations
? Monitor payables, receivables, inventory, and fixed asset accounting
? Ensure the protection of company assets and compliance with principles of internal controls
Providing accurate periodic performance and statutory reports including P&L, balance sheets, budget VS actual, and cash flow reports
? Annual budgeting and implementation
? Optimise cash flow and ensure normal operation of the company
? Identify problems arising in financial operations and provide solutions for improvements
? Work closely with the General Manager to ensure implementation and adherence to company policies, guidelines, procedures and rules and regulations among all personnel
? Be responsible for the annual audit
? Identifying and recommending overall potential operational efficiencies and improvements to working practices and procedures in the company
? Analysis of proposed capital and other project investments ensuring appropriate development of the company within agreed thresholds
? Development of the finance team to satisfy future growing financial requirements
? Develop forecasting models and provide a finance advisory role to assist the successfulimplementation of strategic business projects for all departments
? Financial and business controlling as part of both reporting to headquarter as general business controlling in close cooperation with local management team

Your Background:
? We are looking for a Finance Manager with accounting and financial background of more than 8 years.
? It is expected that the ideal candidate has a general finance management experience and has been a Finance Manager or an equivalent position for a minimum of 3 years.
? Such experience must cover Finance and international reporting in general and not only specialized into a part of Accounting, team leader etc. The broad and international experience is important for the candidate to be qualified
? College education background and accounting degree or equivalent
? Knowledge of China GAAP and IFRS, China CPA preferred
? Strong skills in excel, word, power point
? Fluency in English
? Good business sense and project management and problem solving skills
? Teamwork , strong communication and influencing skills
