The R&D of Search Ads at Search Technology Center Asia aims to build an online advertising ecosystem including users, advertisers, and the search engine. We are able to identify user needs and preferences from the user query with our leading technology and experience, by which we establish connections between the “Ad display” and “ads that match the user query.” Not only on global market, we will make impact in Asia market and drive Microsoft online success in future.
Our mission is to enable Microsoft to play the leading role in the online advertising market through: 1. Establish an outstanding online advertising technology center in the Asian-Pacific region; 2. Deliver high quality ads for the right audience at the right time using the best Ad targeting and optimizing techniques; 3. Promote the innovation of online advertising in the Asian-Pacific market. We design and implement innovative and fantastic products based on user behavior targeting, data mining, machine learning, algorithm optimization, distributed computing, etc. Also we grow close with business - the market, the users, the data, the effects, the profits… It's an interesting and cool field and look forward to more top talents to explore together!

1. Building highly robust, efficient and scalable ads delivery platform
2. Deep understanding on both users' and advertisers' intent
3. Improving signals for relevance and ad quality
4. Click probability prediction and whole page optimization
5. Data mining and scalable data service & infrastructure related to Ads platform
6. Innovative new Ad Products
7. Improving the volume and quality of advertising demand

We are looking for a Senior Program Manager who is experienced and passionate in developing internet services and has the technical background and aptitude to succeed in an agile engineering environment. You will work closely with the STCA PM team and be responsible for driving complex engineering projects across multiple feature areas and in multiple locations. You will be required to drive the product vision, strategy, and execution plan and lead teams to execute effectively. This is a critical role that requires making difficult tradeoffs across conflicting priorities in order to release the best online services to our users and customers.
Required Qualifications:
-An ideal candidate should possess a strong computer science or engineering background, a good grasp of software engineering principles, exceptional problem solving skills and multiple years’ experience in delivering internet services for mass consumer base.
-You must have strong project management skills and ability to understand complex technical problems.
-Great inter-personal skills and ability to build win-win consensus is a must.
-You should also be analytical and detailed-oriented, with a proven track record of effectively leading large engineering teams to deliver software products.
-Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment is essential to succeed in this role.
-Experiences in designing winning consumer products/services is a strong plus.
