Job Description
- Report to GM
- Assist GM in overall management of Regional Branch
- Able to contribute to the profitability of the Company.
- Assist GM to develop short-term (within 6 months) and mid-term (within 2 years) growth strategies for the station that are in line with Group expansion plans.
- Network with existing and prospective clients and all stakeholders of the company's business.
- Assist GM in identifying, launching, executing new clients and business.
- Assist GM in sourcing of vendors and carrier partners with competitive rates and acceptable service level to satisfy needs of clients and business partners of the station.
- Identify, assess and manage business, operational and credit risks of the station.
- Assist GM in annual budgeting and reporting for the station.
- Assist GM to develop and establish the operational plans for the station.
- Assist GM in recruitment and team build up of the station.
- Ensure efficient productivity of all positions within the station.
- Ensure that every position within the station provides excellent customer service and operation handling capabilities.
- Assist GM to set and measure performance standards for all operational departments within the station.
- Ensure employees obtain sufficient training to perform the tasks assigned.
- Lead and motivate team to meet operational and performance targets of the company.
- Undertake any other duties as required by the Company's management.
Requirements
- Possess strong air and sea freight forwarding experience in wholesale, retail & overseas routing order.
- Strong domain knowledge for the city he/she is in charge of.
- Held similar position in small or medium size freight forwarding companies
- Fluent in English.
