Responsibility

·Responsible for managing all technical quality assurance and control issues related to supplier quality development.

·Investigates supplier related product quality problems, gathers and analyzes data and helps to determine root cause for quality problems.

·Measures the performance of the supplier, defines corrective actions and assists in implementing corrective action to reduce or eliminate non-value waste resulting from non-conformances, scrap or reclaim.

·Negotiate with suppliers in order to resolve short-term performance problems.

·Responsible for both internal and external auditing and follow up of corrective action.

·Expedite and assist supplier's first article development.

·Control, management and execution of all specified inspection activities as per instruction, specification and codes, witness procedures and tests and interpret result accurately.

·Control, supervision and implementation of product quality and technical requirements, resolution of quality problems, preparation and maintenance of quality records.

·QA to help vendor to design and document a successful process within a manufacturing plan, witness and monitor against the manufacturing plan.

·Conduct pre-production training.

Requirement

·Have 5+ year experience in quality-related discipline(s).

·Metallurgist or Mechanical college degree preferred.

·Experience with casting, forging, and machining will be helpful.

·Ability to speak English and Chinese.

·Be familiar with ASTM, API 6D, API Q1, ASME etc. used in the oil and gas industry.

·Have strong blueprint/ technical drawing reading skills and GD&T.

·Be able to manage multiple concurrent assignments as well as develop and execute plans and objectives in a timely and effective manner.

·Computer literate and good working knowledge in Microsoft Office programs, PowerPoint, etc, SAP is a plus.

·Have technical knowledge in materials, NDE inspection and exposure to multi discipline works in the oil and gas industry a strong advantage.

·Have skills in the following: Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA), Control Plans, Risk Assessment, and related Six Sigma project experience is an advantage.

·Auditor training is beneficial.
