Job Description
? Deeply understand internet services and update systems configurations to enhance reliability and performance.
? Requires heavy hands on involvement contributing in scripting/automation and large scale web server farms in various datacenters.
? Work closely with the Developers and QA team to ensure efficiency on product releases.
? Deploy fully automated build/package/verify/push cycles for the server side components.

? DETAIL ORIENTED AND CAREFUL - You’re able to to anticipate problems in advance, and responsible enough to handle mission critical systems.
? SERVICE ORIENTED - You get a kick out of fixing people’s problems - completely.
? PASSION - You love learning about new open source technologies and ways to make systems more reliable and easier to understand.
? FOCUS ON CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT - Whether it’s nginx servers, mongodb, or obscure networking problems, you like to make sure everything is up and running at peak performance.
? INFO-JUNKIE - You keep up to dates on security issues, automation and reporting technologies that allow you be the first-to-know about any problems with any of the systems you’re responsible for.
Minimum Skills
? Substantial experience administering and performance-tuning of Linux systems and clusters, Windows Server Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Nginx, MongoDB, Ruby/Perl/Python, Munin/Nagios, Bacula, SAN/NAS
? Good knowledge of release engineering tools and processes.
? Strong Problem Solving Skills in Linux environment.
? Scripting in Bash, Puppet or Ruby, regular expressions.
? Ability to communicate (read/write) in English.
? Experience with Redmine
? Experience of Cloud Management, RightScale is a plus.
Preferred Skills
? Prior System Administration and Web Administration Experience.
? Good knowledge of TCP/IP networking, load-balancers, DNS and caching.
? Developing monitoring infrastructure for applications monitoring.
? Prior experience in developing capacity planning and benchmarking infrastructure.
? Performance Tuning (Linux, Networking, Web).
Preferred Qualifications
? 2 years or above of industry experience.
? BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
