About the position:
As a Storage system administrator you will be responsible for the operation and installation of the storage servers that ELITS operates. We are looking to fill a fulltime position in Beijing.
The tasks are divided to both individual and work in projects. It is important that you have a great ability to co operate with customers, suppliers and colleagues. You will be a part of a team spans across several sites in Sweden, Germany, China, USA and Canada. The ability to handle teamwork and co operation is an important skill to maintain a high standard and a quality delivery to our customers. Work during weekends may occur.
Qualifications:
It is important that you can handle critical server solutions, and at the same time have a professional attitude, be able to organize your tasks and handle stressful situations. As a system administrator you should have a great interest in technology and the ability to visualize the customer needs.
Required experiences:
- At least 3 years of experience with Netapp storage
- Experience with EMC storage an asset
- Knowledge of Linux, UNIX (Solaris) and Windows
- Installation, configuration and trouble shooting skills
- Able to handle TCP- and IP-based networks
- Experience working with incidents, problems, IT orders, requests, changes and releases
- Ability to work independently
- Fluency in English
- Experience of ITIL is an advantage
- Experience working in large enterprise organizations is an advantage

- Communicative and a positive attitude towards customers and colleagues
- Organized and strive for results and quality
- Ability to coordinate and handle more than one task at the same time
- Being proactive
