PURPOSE:
To prioritize and develop existing and, future growth of the projects business and work with Flexco Regional Sales Teams that can implement and execute on sales strategies for Flexco HD products; BCP, CCT and CFMTS.
Working Relationships:
External: Engineering, Design and Consulting Engineering Firms, Mining Companies (corporate and site level). Large Heavy Industry customers. Design institutes and consult. Mining company or power company.
Internal: Regional Projects Sales specialist, Regional Sales force, Contracts Department coordinator, Engineering, Manufacturing, Service, Finance.
GENERAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES:
- Ensure excellent communication exists within relationships between clients and Flexco Divisions
- Conduct calls to Engineering and Mining Companies to present Flexco, and ensure Flexco remain a strong supplier and are executing projects effectively
- Develop and build trusting working relationships with Flexco Regional Sales to increase percentage of win rate - domestically.
- Work with Project Coordinators in Chian/USA/Australia.
- Work with Projects Manager to make Bid/No Bid decisions on major projects outside area of expertise.
- Achieve individual KRAs which is set up by line manager.
- Work with Corporate Product Managers and Market Managers to identify new areas of potential, and assist in creation of market development plans for products; BCP, CCT and CFMTS
- Work with Global Projects Coordinators to ensure the communication and other processes are followed and timelines met
- Development/identification of solutions to client issues that provide innovation, cost advantage and competitive differentiation.
- Ensure through coaching/mentoring, that a planned approach to maintain existing customers and new customers is implemented.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customer base - work with Flexco Sales to support end user interface.
- Ensure the Customer demand information spread sheet is accurate and up to date.
- Complete monthly sales reports and monthly sales rolling forcast.
- Ensure the revenue/profit targets of the region are achieved or exceeded.
- Commitment to the Flexco Vision and Values.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Personal Specifications:
- Strong mechanical aptitude - Qualification essential.
- Positive Orientation - sense of urgency and results orientated
- Interpersonal skills and flexibility when dealing with different people and cultures.
- Analyse and evaluate information logically and draw insightful conclusions
- Resilience - can sustain high levels of performance over extended time
- Possessing the skills and attitudes necessary to work in difficult or complex situations or environments.
Demonstrated Skills:
- Bachelor degree or above in industrial major.
- Minimum 5 years experience in project sales of similar sales field - with a proven track record.
- Strong customer focus and negotiation skills
- Financial and budgeting skills and experience
- Managing and coaching skills
- Ability to build and sustain business relationships
- Excellent written, verbal, numeric and presentation skills
- Computer literacy, ie Microsoft office
- Excellent problem solving skills
