Responsibilities & Main Tasks:

- operation Electron Microscope and product demonstrations of EDS, EBSD & μ-XRF with focus on EBSD

- develop EDX and EBSD application notes for high growth sector

- give scientific presentations at national and international conferences and meetings

- assistance of sales team with pre-sales and after-sales activities

- training for EDX-EBSD beginners, non-frequent users and experts

- communication and problem solving for key account customers

- Ability to install EDX and EBSD at customer site

- Strong cooperation with Berlin team of application engineers

- Software testing and translation / adaptation of manuals

- Factory training in Berlin will be provided

Minimum Qualification:

- The ideal candidate should have:

- A PhD degree in Engineering or Materials Science

- Profound experience in SEM operation and EDX, EBSD & μXRF techniques (theoretical and practical knowledge)

- Capability to develop applications (EDX, EBSD) for high growth sectors and present the findings to domestic customers and international scientific audiences

- Ability to train different level customers on EDX, EBSD and μXRF techniques

- Minimum 3 years of prior work experience preferred

- Excellent command of English language
