职位描述
PURPOSE:
To manage the existing and, future growth of the projects life cycle by developing and implementing sound strategies and processes that enable Flexco to identify, pursue, bid, win, collate and deliver successful projects within the identified market region.
GENERAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES:
- Manage and implement the pursuit process and sales of project related work
- Ensure excellent communication exists within relationships between clients and Flexco.
- Provide marketing and support tools for Engineering Companies that will ensure Flexco remain on bid lists/specifications
- Prepare and submit monthly updates on projects activity.
- Monitor www.indutrialinfo.com website, prepare and distribute regular updates to project sales team.
- Work closely with other team members, particularly the Regional Projects Specialists and leverage opportunities related to lead generation.
- Work with Regional Projects Sales Manager to make Bid/No Bid decisions on major projects.
- Manage the communication process, ensuring processes are followed and timelines met
- Review RFQ's received, identify products to be offered, summarize all technical and commercial clarifications.
- Prepare bid, ensuring accuracy on pricing, quality, commercial and any additional support documentation to be submitted.
- Manage the improvement of bid accuracy and speed
- Coach internal staff, to assist with bid preparation.
- Ensure that Intranet Projects Site is accurate and up to date
- Track project delivery schedule and coordinate with Flexco 'Partners Plus' service partner to ensure correct installation and on-going replacement sales of Flexco equipment.
- Attend client meetings and project progress meetings where necessary.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customer base
- Ensure the CRM (Sales Logix) is accurate and up to date
- Ensure the revenue/profit targets of the region are achieved or exceeded
- Commitment to the Flexco Vision and Values.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Personal Specifications:
- Strong mechanical aptitude - Qualification essential.
- Strong English - written and verbal
- Positive Orientation - sense of urgency and results orientated
- Interpersonal skills and flexibility when dealing with different people
- Analyse and evaluate information logically and draw insightful conclusions
- Resilience - can sustain high levels of performance over extended time
- Demonstrate street wise and poise attributes.
Demonstrated Skills:
- Minimum 3 years experience in similar processes - with a proven track record.
- Mechanical Engineering Degree or Technical background preferred.
- Experience in working with/responding to large scale tenders
- Strong customer focus and negotiation skills
- Financial and budgeting skills and experience
- English and Spanish spoken and written highly preferred
- Proven networking ability
- Excellent written, verbal, numeric and presentation skills
- Auto-Cad
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
