-From our Siemens Finance Leasing Ltd.,, Siemens are looking to recruit an experienced Asset Manager.
-Mission: To support SFLL to align to SFS CoF standard Asset management processes and efficiency, in achieving main missions:
-check/control equipment price value, check assets situation, contribute to company perfromance through efficient repossession and remarketing, optimize asset portfolio risk.
-Dimensions of Function: Role will be based in Beijing, China with interaction of colleagues across COF when appropriate. Responsible for assisting in the implementation of applicable AM processes/ guidelines and to monitor the current portfolio from an AM perspective.

-Internal: COF Asset Management including the Head quarter and Sales/ Risk/ Portfolio management/ Work out &Collections/ Operations teams; External: Lessees, Remarketing Partners, Suppliers/Dealers, Leasing Advisors and Bankruptcy partners.

What are my responsibilities? 我的工作职责是什么？
-To support Asset Managment Team of SFLL in upgrading AM department efficiency and performance by generating ideas, support and drive collaboration with key stake holders and implement new processes.
-To evaluate new business opportunities in order to correctly identify equipent and recommend appropriate asset codes/ Collateral values/ Asset related information/ price check, delivery check and inspection by using experience in the prioritized asset categories: CAT (Construction, Agriculture and Trucks), GM (General Equipment), MT (Machine Tools), other industries and Healthcare.
-To build a firm knowledge of the equipment in the prioritized asset categories in order to support informed risk decisions. This is to be achieved through interaction with introducers, service providers, manufacturers, market research and knowledge sharing with colleagues across COF.
-Management of overdue accounts together with Work out and Collection department (asset valuation, identification, advise, physical repossession and remarketing). Proactive and timely contribute to Workout reports with transparent information and update, including clear assessment of the asset collateral situation and value.
-To manage repossession and warehouse partners through effective communication, visits, documentation, negotiation and engagement in order to ensure optimised channels of equipment disposal are maintained.
-To communicate and inform Head of Asset Management China regarding asset related challenges, changes on the second hand market and any potential risk in the portfolio.
-To advise, perform and/ or manage asset inspection when necessary for new business or existing accounts.
-To comply with COF Asset Management policies, processes, guidelines and authorities.
-Consistent and quality evidence of proactive collaboration and positive engagement of COF China with SFS, COF other countries, Siemens Sectors.

What do I need to qualify for this job? 我如何才能胜任？
Experience:
-3 years experience in similar function
-Experience in Project Management appreciated
-Intercultural sensitivity appreciated
-Engineering degree or strong technical understanding. Experience of asset lifecycle management and the Chinese second user market of the prioritized asset categories (GM , SD) is welcome. GM is General Equipments (i.e. all kinds of production lines for packaging, food, beverage, steel related processing equipments,). SD is Siemens Direct (The equipments contain key Siemens components such as PLC, etc.)
Knowledge:
-Asset Class expertise, especially on General Equipments (production lines, steel related production equipments, and Siemens Industry related)
-Processes, procedures, pricing, and structures of leasing business
-Processes, procedures, pricing, and structures of asset management activities
-Understand the P&L impact of asset management activities
-Product and lifecycle management
-Service and refurbishment concepts of manufacturing industry
-Negotiation and conflict resolution
-Contract Management System (LOS)
-Basic English skill.
