JOB DIMENSIONS:
Within a team work context:
1) Provide the engineering support for the accomplishment of the drilling and/or completion and/or work-over operations, in compliance with codes of practice, safety and environmental protection, all while optimizing costs and lead times
2) Ensure the suitability to operational requirements of engineering and reporting works and tools,
3) Contribute to the performances of E & P wells operations, through a continual search for the improving of engineering and reporting
ACTIVITIES:
1) Ensure operations are conducted with respect of HSE,
2) Participate to operations program preparation,
3) Prepare and update rigs planning
4) Follow-up drilling rigs performances and propose steps for performance improvement,
5) Participate to the process of producing technical and operational reports,
6) Build knowledge about drilling related contracts for contractual, technical and commercial matters,
7) Cost control and costs follow-up for drilling related services,
8) Ensure good relationship with services providers, ensure equipment, studies, services are delivered on time,
9) Liaise with other PMT entities (GSR, Production, Logistics) and obtain information or services needed for rigs operations,
10) Organize and maintain good filing process in drilling – operations dossiers,
11) Participate and attend to well pre-spud meetings organized on field,
12) Build own drilling experience by drilling site visits and good relationship with operational personnel.
13) Propose technological innovations
14) Contribute to improving skills and know-how
15) Take part in R&D projects
16) Run simulation on drilling software

CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT:
1) Team work capability is required.
2) Good relationship needed with other PMT entities & Contractors.
3) Very firm commitment on the HSE aspects of plans, program, procedures
4) Assignment in Xian with mission trips to the site

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1) Fluent in English (speaking & writing)
2) Engineering degree
3) 1-3 years experience in Drilling and Well Engineering
