工作内容
中国区市场拓展经理主要职责是根据公司总部对中国区的业务规划和发展目标,制定、计划并执行市场开拓的各类举措。
工作重心是寻找在中国的新增长机会、开拓产品新的应用领域及新的客户群体。该职位要求与中国、新加坡的运营团队及美国总部的产品管理及高级管理团队密切合作。具体工作包括进行市场调研、制定商业计划书、并与当地政策决策机构密切合作,促使TSI产品在标准、法规及准则制定及执行中的应用。
根据公司的发展状况,此职位有可能管理一个全新的市场商业化团队。
此职位有50%的国内及海外出差频率。
工作职责
1. 增强TSI产品在目标市场的品牌认知度、性能规格及商品化水平,最终引导产品销售及市场占有率的增长。
2. 有效的管理亚太区市场拓展进程。与总部沟通和合作,以确保在追求市场发展机遇中得到总部足够的支持和资源应用。
3. 有效识别市场发展机遇,并根据公司商业发展部的指导寻求机遇。

JOB SUMMARY
The Market Development Manager (MDM) is responsible for identifying, planning, and executing market development initiatives that directly support the Company’s China business plans and growth targets. The MDM will focus primarily on growth opportunities in China and new application and/or customer segments. The MDM will work closely with the operating units in China and Singapore as well as the Product Management and Senior Management teams in the United States. Specific tasks might include conducting market research, developing a business plan, or working closely with local representatives to include TSI products in standards, regulations or guidelines. Depending on the growth opportunity, the MDM might also be asked to manage a new market commercialization team. Position requires approximately 50% travel within China and some International travel.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Drive awareness, specification, and commercialization of TSI products into target growth markets ultimately leading to increased sales and market penetration.
2. Effectively manage the market development process for Asia Pacific. Communicate and collaborate with Headquarters to ensure adequate support and resources are being applied to pursue market development opportunities.
3. Contribute to the identification of market development opportunities. Pursue opportunities identified by TSI Business Development (growth initiative) group.
4. Lead market research efforts, potentially leveraging industry consultants, to effectively define market drivers, market needs, competitive landscape, customer segmentation, etc. Attend conferences and exhibitions to network with key players and increase knowledge of target segments.
5. Develop business plans including sales strategy, product positioning, financial analysis, etc.
6. When required, assist Marketing in the creation of sales tools including brochures, data sheets, application notes, etc.
7. Contribute along with Marketing, Sales, and Engineering to the Global Product Planning process.
8. Completes other assignments and special projects as requested.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
None assigned at this time. Depending on the opportunity, the MDM may assume supervisory responsibilities for a focused team assigned to a particular growth initiative.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. Education:

BA/BS degree in engineering or business

A minimum of 5 years of Market Development experience in China.
Has worked for a multinational company reporting to headquarters in North America or Europe.
Experience working in Industrial market segments.
