Sandvik HR Services is looking for a HR Services Specialist.

Sandvik has presented a new Human Resources delivery model and organizational structure. HR Services organization has been introduced and will be a very important role for us to enable a high performing organization by working close with the business. Main focus is to provide value added globally consistent HR advisory & specialists services to Sandvik employees & line managers across all business areas.

We are now looking for HR Services Specialist in South Region of China. The location for this position is in Guangzhou, China.

Key performance areas
As HR Services Specialist, you will need to provide expert advice, guidance and coaching to line managers across all business areas within the country or region and ensure quality delivery of complex & specialist activities within your area of expertise, or across a number of areas of expertise.

You will be responsible for using sound judgment and discretion to interpret policies and procedures and apply them appropriately for the situation. You will also be offering coaching, advice and guidance to Sandvik line managers in order to actively raise their understanding of and expertise in people management and HR issues including reinforcing the delivery model for HR services by directing the customer to the correct channel.

Furthermore, you may exceptionally require providing face to face support to managers in high risk or complex situations and in some cases will be responsible for more than one Sandvik site or providing support across a number of specialist service areas

This position reports to HR Services Lead - Specialist and you must be flexible to travel within the region where required to give support across multiple sites.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a University degree or equivalent experience within the relevant function and minimum 5 years of experience working in HR generalist or specialist roles providing services to Line Managers.

We expect that you have strong HR operations background with excellent business understanding and customer interaction skills, as well as good command of English both in written and oral.
