Job description
IBM SWG IM sales team is seeking for an Advisory Sales Specialist in Guangzhou. The person will be responsible for developing and closing business with named accounts such as GB LE, Public Accounts.
RESPONSIBILITIES - be responsible for selling the IBM IM software products (such as DB2 , Informix, Pure data, Big Data, ETL tools, Dataware House, Database Security Solutions…) within the GB LE & Public accounts in Fujian Territory. - Manage opportunities within above accounts and achieve targeted sales revenue and growth goals - Work towards the long term goal of making accounts on IBM IM solutions. - Drive IM transaction sales business in conjunction with IBM territory Client Sales and Software Clients Leader sales, solutions engineers and channel partners. - Develop opportunities into working (real) funnel valued at 3-5 times expected revenue goals on an ongoing (quarterly/annual) basis. - Map and maintain relationships at all levels within the coverage accounts – CxO, IT Managers, partners and other key decision makers and influencers. - Leverage existing relationships, coordinating and maximizing selling efficiencies by partnering with IM’s partner community, i.e ISV's, SI’s, Alliance’s etc. - implement sales strategy to drive revenue across IM product line. - be a primary driver for IM run-rate transactional business within the territory. - Execute solution selling to existing customer base and new prospects. - Provide forecasting and update account/opportunity detail in Sales Connect.
Required
Bachelor's Degree
At least 6 years experience in SWG Sales
English: Intermediate
Chinese simplified: Fluent

REQUIREMENTS - Bachelor degree or equivalent - Minimum 5 years IT industry background. Minimum 2 years of experience in software sales is preferred - Experience in selling infrastructure solutions or software solutions highly desirable. - Self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively present to both technical and executive audiences. - Proven ability to build relationships and effectively sell to senior executives and CxOs - Strong cold calling, prospecting, presentation, communication and writing skills - Strong time manag
