Key Objectives:

• The CAD-expert is responsible to enable all CAD-users in R&D section of BMW China Services Ltd. to work with the implemented CAD/TDM (Team Data Management) IT-solution. Management and solving of time critical problems in daily CAD-work, measures for optimizing, user-training, best-practice documentation, processes definition and -enhancements are mainly his tasks.

• The goal is to take care of all existing CAD/TDM-issues and to ensure the contact between CAD-support in Munich and China works properly.

Major Responsibilities:

• Make sure all users are able to work with the CAD-system (training, documentation and process for enabling of new employees).

• Evaluation, consolidation and solution delivery for time critical problems in daily with current CAD-solution.

• Trigger and coordinate the implementation of measures, enhancements or new IT-solutions for CAD and to contact the CAD-colleagues in Munich wherever necessary.

• Roll Out process-IT solutions for CAD at BMW China.

Education / Degree:

• University Degree of information technology, engineering or comparable education.

Knowledge / Skills / Competences:

• Automotive R&D processes, preferable with BMW specific knowledge.

• Development of best practice approaches (e.g. versioning, proper removal of content, etc.).

• User-access management to the CAD-system.

• Business contact for change and problem management (prioritization, steering, communication and business contribution in upcoming changes, …).

• Process-IT knowledge, preferable at Process-IT ItO BMW.

• Communication and negotiation skills

• English and Chinese language skills (German prefered).

• Leadership skills and intercultural competency.

• Project management skills.

Experience:

• CAD/ TDM IT-solutions and processes.
