JOB TITLE: System Administrator, Teamcenter
REPORT TO: Functional Manager Teamcenter
WORK LOCATION: Shanghai Jiading or Hebei Langfang, China

JOB PURPOSE:
SANDVIK IT GLOBAL SHARED SERVICES (GSS) is the Sandvik Group's internal organization responsible for infrastructure, application development and system management in the IT area. Technical Business Platform Teamcenter is a group of global resources working closely together with Mining and Construction R&D in their PLM program. This program includes projects and activities that are connected to the Teamcenter and NX systems and their surrounding environments. Our role is to support Teamcenter projects by taking the responsibility of software development, data migrations, HW and SW installations and integrations to other systems. Our services also include Application Management and key user support for Teamcenter.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Configuration, installation, maintenance and key user support of Teamcenter Unified Architecture at server and client level, including production, test and development environments;
2. Plan, deploy and launch server and client software updates and upgrades with project teams;
3. Perform ongoing release management;
4. Coordinate with Colleagues, Database Administrators, Information Technology (IT) Operations, Customers and Software Vendors to plan releases, schedule and coordinate outages for deployment;
5. Define, implement and test disaster recovery plans;
6. Incident management;
7. Perform Root Cause Analysis, debug recurring problems with TeamCenter and utilize programming skills to prevent the recurrence of these problems;
8. Develop custom queries and implement classification hierarchies to allow end-users to efficiently and effectively locate items of interest;
9. Develop and maintain TeamCenter workflows, overall workflow design and handlers;
10. Responsible for creating and managing the standard operating procedures for TeamCenter User account creation, maintenance and license management including, but not limited to; organization, users, groups and roles;
11. Author, review and maintain system documentation;
12. Assist with user training.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1. Requires a Bachelor's degree, Engineering or Computer Science preferred;
2. Requires 3 years experience in managing, administering and implementing of TeamCenter Unified Architecture environments;
3. Requires 3 years experience in an Engineering or Manufacturing environment;
4. Requires 3 year experience with Windows Operating System and J2EE;
5. Requires strong verbal and written communication skills in English;
6. Requires experience effectively responding to shifting priorities in a fast paced and changing environment;
7. Requires the ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time.
