Contract Logistics-Supply Chain Solution Project manager -for a global 3PL company-Shenzhen
The Clients
Our client is global freight forwarding company, and looking for a candidate with solid Supply Chain Development experience as Project Manager
Key Responsibilities
Support Supply Chain Development General Manager on various aspects relating to growing and retaining existing and new accounts as well as securing the differentiating value of the Supply Chain Development product portfolio.
Support sales and account management in developing differentiating propositions
Manage projects through the segmentation, analysis, implementation and value monitoring phases using available Supply Chain Development tools
Support the implementation of the Regional Supply Chain Development strategy and value-creation methodology in line with Global Supply Chain Development strategy
Conduct Supply Chain Development training & education activities within the region
Manage Supply Chain Development analysts and offshore analyst team to deliver high quality projects to the customer.
Interact with the Supply Chain Development global community to work on global projects/customers, learn about new projects and initiatives to assist your regional target customers
Perform other position related duties as specified by management
Competencies required
Proven track record in project management
Good communication and negotiation skills
Good knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Excel, Access and Project
Basic supply chain knowledge
Basic people management skills
Experience
Education and Experience
? Bachelors Degree in business, supply chain management or any other similar discipline required
? 2-3 years of expertise in project management
? 2-3 years experience in client facing functions
? Experience in a logistics functions is an advantage
