Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
Detailed Description
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Job Requirements
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a senior Software Developer, you will play a critical role in shaping the direction of the BI products from both a technical and business perspective. You will work closely with the product management on product requirements and functionality, and quickly learn all aspects of Oracle products, such as, databases, Data-warehouse tools, Weblogic, Mobile architecture, and fluent with 3rd party products, such as Apache, Tomcat etc.
MUST HAVE QUALIFICATION
- BS/MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- 6-year experience in Java software development in a high tech industry.
- High initiative and being a team player is a must.- Extensive knowledge with object oriented design paradigms a must.
- Should possess strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong motivation to produce the highest quality deliverables in a limited timeframe
- Experience working with web application technologies such as J2EE (emphasis on Servlets, JSPs), Struts, Application Servers, JavaServer Faces, DHTML, AJAX, web services, and Javascript.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION
- C++ programming is a very plus.
- Experience with UI design is very desirable.
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence a definite plus.
- Have in-depth knowledge in area of performance, networking, clustering, and internet application problems (security, caching, stability)
