Goal:
o Improve the quality of Kramer Audio/Video products and various components (cables, speakers, mechanical items) who supplied by OEM manufacturers and vendors.
o Facilitate continues improvement of these OEMs and vendors.

Responsibilities:
o On site QC patrol (compliance to SOPs).
o OBA – Out Of Box Audits including Ad hoc final QC inspections (functional and visual) before shipments.
o Review ongoing quality data (IQC, in process, final tests) and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
o Review weekly/monthly yield reports and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
o Handle failure Reports Analysis and monitor the Corrective Action Plans.
o Follow-up audits at vendors to review quality improvement plans implementation (following Kramer HQ initial quality audits).

Required Characteristics:
Education:
a. Electrical/Mechanical Engineer.
b. CQE or other formal education in quality methodologies.

Professional Experience:
o Experience of at least 5 years as a Quality Engineer/Manager in Electronic Assemblies Production Lines, SMT & Wave process, board testing, final goods assembly, performing audits in production lines and quality inspections.
o Familiarity with Mechanical production and quality audits as well as inspections.
o Familiar with process control methodology SPC, CPK etc.
o Ability to understand technical specs and mechanical drawings.
o Familiarity with International Standards and Directives such as ISO9001:2000, IPC 610, RoHS.
o Reliability Engineering background – a plus.
o S/W Quality Assurance background – a plus.
o Audits of development groups – a plus.


Personal requirements:
o Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship, both in Chinese and in English (CET 6), read, speak, write.
o Ability to travel frequently in China.
o Holding passport and ability to travel to Taiwan occasionally.
o Independent, assertive, ability to give constructive feedback to vendors.
o MS Office (WORD, EXCEL) excellent skills.
