Principle Water or Environment Engineer

Job Purpose
The principle Engineer will coordinate all activities of the consultants and take a leading role in water and environment projects technically and administratively; to coordinate all activities of consultants; to liaise with the client; to provide other support as required.
Person specification
- Academic background in water and environment;
- At least 10 years experience and at least 3 years experience with project management;
- Working experience with international consulting firms; desirable with experience of projects funded by international financing agencies, e.g. World Bank, Asian Development Bank, DFID etc
- Experiences in water supply, waste water and environment studies is an advantage;
- Good English ability is a must;
- Able to endure work pressure and willing to travel and work overtime if required
Terms and Conditions of Employment
Working Hours
Mott MacDonald (Beijing) Limited has a five day working week, Monday to Friday inclusive. Working hours are: 9:00 to 12:00; 13:00 to 18:00
Salary
Mott MacDonald is an equal opportunities employer. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package in keeping with our status as a global engineering, management and development consultancy.
Salary composition:
Basic salary + Compulsory social security + Supplemental medical
Income tax and individual contribution to social insurance will be deducted at source and paid by MM (Beijing) Ltd to relevant authorities.
No other allowance will be provided.
Leave
Ten or fifteen working days (or pro rata) per calendar year of paid annual leave in addition to public holidays, dependent on your grade
